A Charming Nineteenth Century Flower Press

Having two carved and turned wooden ‘bolts’ and ‘nuts’ securing a carved upper plate to its corresponding lower plate or base. The upper plate with a small painting entitled The Defence of Saragossa by Sir David Wilkie. The original painting purchased by George IV and now at Buckingham Palace.
