A Morgan & Sanders Extending Mahogany Dining Table

A large Regency period dining table of excellent colour and quality. The well figured top having a reeded edge and retaining its three original insertion leaves that allow the table to be used at 4 different lengths.  The table supported on six turned tapering and reeded legs terminating in original brass caps and castors.

To each end of the table is a brass handle to enable the table to be extended. The backplate to one handle engraved ‘Morgan and Sanders, Inventors & Manufacturers, 16 & 17 Catherine Street, Strand, London’.
