The cabinet has a raised and stepped two tier superstructure with its original pierced ormolu galleries. The upper shelf supported by two chased ormolu columns and the lower shelf by two turned rosewood columns. The lower part with a breakfront centre section with two grill doors flanked by two further grill doors. The cabinet supported on reeded bun feet, each foot below a reeded pilaster and carved volute.

The cabinet is a particularly good size and is of very good quality. Exactly as one would expect from the work of George Oakley.
